The SEM Italy School Network aims to raise awareness and promote the issues of high potential, dual exceptionality, and the prevention of underachievement in schools.
The SEM Italy Network Schools have received training in Gifted and Talented Education and in-depth, advanced training in the Scholastic Enrichment Model (Renzulli, Reis, Milan, 2021), Double Exceptionality, and Gifted Underachievement, equipping them with the skills and tools to develop the gifts and talents of all students, from an inclusive perspective. SEM Italy designs and supervises training and research activities for research and interventions on the development of creativity, potential, and talent, on enhancing the potential of doubly exceptional students, and on addressing the underachievement process and preventing school dropout.
