SEM Italy is a Center for Twice Exceptionality recognized by the Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity, California, USA.

We are excited to announce the official launch of SEM Italy's Strengths Assessment Lab, which uses, exclusively for Italy, the Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity's Suite of Tools™ (SOT). https://bgs.edu

At the 2e Lab of SEM Italy, Dr. Lara Milan,

2nd Specialist trained at the Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity with leading American experts in twice exceptionality,

offers families a personalized service for profiling the areas of strength, interests, and talents of twice exceptional students.

This tool allows teachers to gather useful information for developing a Dually Differentiated Educational Plan, developed by Dr. Lara Milan in the book "La Doppia eccezionalità. Valorizzare il potenziale individuale nella classe neurodiversa" (Milan, 2025), published by SEM Italy and Erickson.

For profiling service requests, please write to: info@semitaly.com

SEM Italy's 2e Lab offers, exclusively for Italy, the innovative Suite of Tools™ tools for profiling twice exceptional students who, on one hand, exhibit high potential and levels of excellence in one or more fields and, on the other, exhibit an atypical developmental trajectory—learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, genetic syndromes, or behavioral disorders.

Your child's strengths and talents are key to his or her future.

TRAINING COURSES

SEM Italy's training courses aim to enhance the skills of teachers and educators on the topic of twice exceptionality. Our approach is based on a focus on each individual's cognitive, emotional, and relational characteristics, in order to develop individualized and personalized programs that take into account the students' unique educational and emotional needs and their school, family, and social contexts. We offer useful tools to develop the strengths, talents, and potential of 2e students while simultaneously supporting their areas of vulnerability, with an inclusive approach.
